INGREDIENTS:-


▢ 2 cups all-purpose flour
 1 teaspoon salt 
▢ 1 teaspoon ginger
▢ 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
▢ 1/4 cup water
▢ 1 tablespoon cumin
▢ 1 tablespoon kasoori methi leaves
▢ 1 tablespoon carom seeds
 5 potatoes, boiled and mashed 
▢ 1 teaspoon coriander powder
▢ 1 onion, finely chopped
 1 cup green peas
 1/2 cup coriander leaves, finely chopped
▢ 1 teaspoon garam masala
▢ 1 teaspoon red chili powder
▢ 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
▢ Oil for deep-frying

INSTRUCTIONS :-


Step 1 : In a bowl, mix the flour and salt. 

Step 2 : Add the oil and mix until crumbly.

Step 3 : Gradually add the water, stirring until the mixture forms a soft dough. 

Step 4 : Knead for 5 minutes and set aside, covered, for 30 minutes.

Step 5 : In a pan, heat the oil and add the cumin. 

Step 6 : Add the onions, potatoes, green peas, coriander leaves, garam masala, and red chili powder. 

Step 7 : Cook for 5 minutes.

Step 8 : Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. 

Step 9 : Take a portion and roll out into a circle. Cut the circle

Notes:

Creating the perfect samosa doesn't have to be a challenge – just follow our easy steps! 

Start by kneading a tight or stiff dough – don't overwork it and mix the oil with flour at least 5-6 times to make sure your samosas come out crisp. Let the dough rest for 40-60 minutes before rolling it into thin balls. Make sure you don't use any flour while rolling it and a little oil can help you get an even shape. 

When it comes to frying, always keep the flame low – no matter how long it takes. This will make sure that your samosas have plenty of blisters and are cooked all the way through. Enjoy!
