INGREDIENTS :-
for noodles ball:
▢1 tsp butter
▢1½ cup water
▢2 pack maggi tastemaker
▢2 pack maggi noodles
▢2 tbsp onion (finely chopped)
▢2 tbsp carrot (finely chopped)
▢2 tbsp cabbage (finely chopped)
▢2 tbsp capsicum (finely chopped)
▢2 tbsp spring onion (finely chopped)
▢1 tsp ginger garlic paste
▢1 tsp chilli sauce
▢½ tsp salt
▢½ cup corn flour
▢1 pack maggi noodles (for outer layer)
▢oil (for frying)
for manchurian gravy:
▢2 tbsp oil
▢2 clove garlic (finely chopped)
▢1 inch ginger (finely chopped)
▢1 chilli (slit)
▢2 tbsp spring onion (chopped)
▢½ onion (petals)
▢½ capsicum (cubed)
▢2 tbsp tomato sauce
▢2 tbsp vinegar
▢2 tbsp soy sauce
▢1 tsp chilli sauce
▢¼ tsp pepper powder
▢¼ tsp salt
▢2 tsp corn flour
▢½ cup water (for slurry)
▢1½ cup water (for gravy)
INSTRUCTIONS:-
Create a mouth-watering Manchurian dish for your family with these easy steps.
Step 1 : Firstly, in a pan, bring 1 ½ cup water and 2 packs of Maggi Tastemaker to a boil.
Step 2 : Crush 2 packs of Maggi noodles into boiling water.
Step 3 : Once the noodles are cooked well, transfer them to a large bowl.
Step 4 : Add 2 tbsp of onion, 2 tbsp of carrot, 2 tbsp of cabbage, 2 tbsp of capsicum, 2 tbsp of spring onion, and 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste.
Step 5 : Season with 1 tsp of chilli sauce, ½ tsp of salt, and mix well.
Step 6 : Add ½ cup of cornflour and stir gently, forming a soft dough.
Step 7 : Grease your hands with oil and prepare ball-sized Manchurian balls, rolling each one in crushed Maggi.
Step 8 : Deep fry the balls in medium hot oil until golden brown, then drain and set aside.
Step 9 : In a large wok, heat 2 tbsp of oil and sauté 2 cloves of garlic, 1 inch of ginger, 1 chilli, and 2 tbsp of spring onion.
Step 10 : Add ½ onion and ½ capsicum and stir fry on high flame.
Step 11 : Pour in tomato sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, chilli sauce, pepper powder, and salt.
Step 12 : Mix until all the sauces are combined.
Step 13 : Thicken the sauce with a cornflour slurry, made with 2 tsp of cornflour and ½ cup of water.
Step 14 : Boil the sauce until it thickens slightly
Step 15 : Then drop in the prepared noodle balls.
Step 16 : Mix well and enjoy!
Notes:
Don't overcook the maggi, or it will become too soft and soak up too much oil. Add vegetables for a nutritious and delicious dish. For a dryer version of the manchurian, avoid adding water to the sauce. Enjoy the meal hot to get the best flavor.
