Hot Coffee Recipe | How to Make a Cup of Coffee step by step recipe. I usually stick to tea, but sometimes coffee is the only thing that can do the trick. Whenever I'm feeling down or can't shake off the yawns, this frothy coffee method is my go-to. Known in India as “Beaten Coffee,” this method can also be used to make cappuccinos and lattes.

I love getting coffee from a cafe barista, but that's something I only do on special occasions because it's so expensive! This method for making cafe-style hot coffee produces a wonderfully frothy replica for a fraction of the cost.

 INGREDIENTS:-

▢3 teaspoons instant coffee – nescafe or your preferred brand
▢3 tablespoons sugar or add as per taste
▢6 tablespoons water – hot
▢2 cup milk

INSTRUCTIONS:-

Step 1: In a mug, mix together instant coffee and sugar.

Step 2: Add 3 tablespoons of boiling hot water, stirring briskly and beating with a spoon for 3-4 minutes, until the colour lightens and you see a frothy layer on top.

Step 3: In a small, heavy saucepan, boil 1 cup of milk on medium-high heat.

Step 4: Once boiled, pour the milk into either a glass jar or a thermos flask - not plastic!

Step 5: Shaking is easier with a glass jar with a handle.

Step 6: Shake the jar vigorously for 1-2 minutes, or use a handheld frother, or blend the milk in a blender - to ensure a nice layer of frothy foam forms on top.

Step 7: Pour the foamy milk into the cup with the coffee, and after adding ⅓ or ½ of the milk, stir with a spoon, swirling the cup if desired.

Step 8: Pour in the remaining milk, including the frothy layer, and serve this homemade cafe-style coffee immediately.

Step 9: Sprinkle some ground cinnamon or cocoa powder on top for an extra special touch.

Step 10: Enjoy!
